What are Chamber bucks?
Chamber Bucks are an incentive to help support local businesses. Chamber Bucks are checks issued by the Long Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce that can be used just like a bank check at businesses all around the Long Prairie Area.
Simply present the Chamber Bucks to the business when you go to pay. The business will process the Chamber Buck just like a check and deposit it in their bank account.
Can I exchange Chamber Bucks for cash?
No. Chamber Bucks may be used at any participating Chamber member business, but they cannot be exchanged for cash. The full amount of the Chamber Bucks must be used to purchase goods or services. No change will be given.
Where can I spend my chamber bucks?
We’ve included a list of businesses that have agreed to accept Chamber Bucks. However, any local business can accept them even if they’re not on this list. The check cannot be cashed at any bank, written to yourself or another individual.
SUGGESTION: Purchase a Gift Card for the full amount on the Chamber Bucks check/s. For example: $5 l $10 l $25 l $50 l etc. Then you can buy what you want and come back for more.
Do Chamber Bucks expire?
Chamber Bucks have an expiration date (180 days from the date printed). If your Chamber Bucks expire before you get a chance to use it, you can exchange it for current Chamber Bucks.
Businesses Accepting & Redeeming Chamber Gift Checks
Chamber Bucks are checks and can be deposited by your business as a traditional check.
When a Chamber Buck is presented as payment for items purchased, treat it as you would a traditional check.
Before depositing the Chamber Bucks into your bank account, please ensure that each Chamber buck has been made payable to your business.
